Why Store Your Boat Off the Water?

Whether you're an avid boater or a weekend lake cruiser, your boat is a valuable asset that deserves proper care—especially when not in use. Leaving it docked year-round or parked at home can lead to:

  • Weather Damage: Prolonged exposure to sun, rain, and hail can wear down upholstery, paint, and mechanical systems.
  • Theft & Vandalism: Boats parked in driveways or unsecured lots are more vulnerable.
  • HOA Restrictions: Many communities limit or prohibit storing large vehicles like boats at home.
  • Costly Repairs: Improper storage during off-season months increases wear and tear, leading to avoidable maintenance expenses.
By storing your boat at a dedicated facility, you protect your investment, reduce long-term costs, and simplify your launch routine when the water’s calling.

🧭 Seasonal vs. Year-Round Storage

Q: Do I need boat storage year-round? A: Not necessarily—but even during boating season, many owners prefer to store their vessels when not in use. Our monthly plans make it easy to use us during peak season or year-round for winterization and protection.
Q: Is boat storage worth the cost? A: Absolutely. The average cost of UV or water damage repairs can far exceed the cost of storage. Protecting your boat = preserving your resale value.
Q: Can I store jet skis or small watercraft? A: Yes! We offer parking for trailers, personal watercraft, and multi-vehicle setups.

💰 Current Special: 50% Off First Month

Take advantage of our seasonal special and get 50% off your first month’s rent. It's the perfect time to prep your boat for off-season care or simply free up space at home.

After looking at various Boat/RV storage locations near Blue Ridge, we found Boat and RV Storage Georgia off Hwy 515 in Morganton. The facility is well kept and leasing a space was easy! I phoned Saturday evening thinking I’d leave a message and was shocked to actually reach someone. Apologize for not recalling her name, but she was great to work with and got us set up. My wife and then drove over to check the space and decided we should have gone with a 30’, rather than 40’. On Monday I called to see about changing spaces and spoke with Ali. He too was absolutely great to work worth; he patiently kept me on the line while he worked to adjust our storage need and seamlessly got it handled! Thank you Ali!! If looking for a Boat or RV storage location, you should really check out Boat and RV Storage Georgia!

Just started a new contract for a 38' class A at the Loving Rd location in Morganton. Did a site inspection, they were helpful getting us through the security gate for a visit. Overall, the facility looks organized and secure. Our contact - Ali - worked with us to get signed up - he was very helpful. Hopefully all goes well when we pull her in!
